532nm DPSS Green Laser Structure

Different from 510nm Direct Green laser, 532nm DPSS green laser has been playing the most important part for green laser application for a decade.
However, the stability and operation for 532nm always be the headache for implements.

From below 3 kinds of 532nm DPSS laser structure, it is easy to outline the cause why 532nm is sensitive for the environment temperature.

532nm green laser is driven by an 808nm laser diode (200mW).
The 808nm laser will go through 2 crystal (KTP & YVO4) to motivate the wavelength from 808nm to 1064nm, and cut half to 532nm.
Since both crystal is sensitive when temperature is changing. the 532nm green laser's stability and operation temperature rely on the quality of both crystal so much.

Generally speaking, 532nm green laser working temperature is around 15°C ~35°C, which is far from the specification requirement for outdoor using.
Under such tight temperature tolerance also has result in the limited usage of 532nm green laser implements.
